Dr. Aimee Dukes, Ph.D, HSP, NCSP

Dr. Dukes graduated from Tennessee State University with a Ph.D. in Psychology in 2006. She is a licensed psychologist with a health service provider designation within the state of Tennessee, and she also holds a national certification from the National Association of School Psychologists as well as certification as a Trauma Professional. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Vanderbilt University where she teaches counseling and leadership classes.

Dr. Dukes has 20+ years of experience as a psychologist working with young children up through adulthood.  She has experience as a special education teacher as well as teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Dukes has also worked as a Parent Advisor with the Tennessee Early Intervention System.  She specializes in autism, ADHD, and dyselxia.  In 2016, she was awarded the Beth Stokes Memorial award for best practices in school psychology from the Tennessee Association of School Psychologists. 

Dr. Dukes lives at home with her husband, two children, and their dog, Jane.  She has been trained in Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) at TCU. She obtained this training because she herself is an adoptive parent.
